The Department of Agriculture 12 through the Extension Support, Education and Training Services (ESETS) gathered Local Farmer Technicians (LFTs) of Cotabato Province today to be updated on new programs and guidelines during their year-end assessment in Balindog, Kidapawan City.
Operations Chief Zaldy Boloron, who represented DA-12 Regional Executive Director Arlan Mangelen, discussed the Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) program and explained to the participants on how the F2C2 can be achieved and help the agriculture sector in the region.
Other presentation include the updates on the pest management and control of Fall Army Worm and rat infestation by the Regulatory Division and the Regional Crop Protection Center.
The LFTs were also oriented with their additional functions and the proper process of reporting to meet the requirements for their incentives.
The LFT year-end assessment will also be conducted for South Cotabato Province on December 4 at Koronadal City.
