As part of the Launching of the Comprehensive Reform and Development Agenda for ARMM and the Armed conflict affected areas in Region IX, X and XII led by President Rodrigo Duterte in Cotabato City, the Department of Agriculture also launched the Pagkain Para sa Masa project wherein hundreds of participants joined in to partake food prepared by the DA Family.

Pagkain Para sa Masa is a feeding program initiated by the government intended for the marginalized sector particularly the farm families in the conflict affected areas to uplift the socio-economic condition of the rural communities.

The Pagkain Para sa Masa Project will provide feeding program and various livelihood trainings to enable beneficiaries to capacitate themselves and provide more opportunities for meaningful sources of livelihood.

DA Undersecretary Ranibai Dilangalen, who represented Secretary Manny Piñol, spearheaded the event with DA-12 RED Mila Casis, DAF-ARMM Secretary Alexander Alonto Jr. and DA-10 RED Carlene C. Collado.

A simultaneous event was also conducted in the four provinces of region 12.
