Department of Agriculture (DA) 12 Regional Executive Director Arlan Mangelen has assured that all agricultural programs of DA will benefit every farmer in Region 12.

This was highlighted in his message during the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) Seminar held in Makilala, North Cotabato earlier today.

"Sa 2021, i-integrate natin ang lahat ng banner programs natin sa DA upang makita natin ang social impact ng mga ito at mapalawak pa natin ang serbisyo ng ating ahensiya," director Mangelen said.

The director also urged the attendees to register on Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture and form a cooperative or association in preparation for the DA’s Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Program implementation next year.

Meanwhile, in the said activity, he also led the turn-over ceremony of PhP 3.29-million worth of agricultural interventions to a farmer cooperative from Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat and association from Makilala.

A total of PhP 1.66-million worth of one unit closed van was given to Budasan Communal Irrigators Association and PhP 1.63-million worth of hauling truck was received by First Farmers Marketing Cooperative.

"Malaking tulong po itong sasakyan sa asosasyon namin. Mas mapapaganda nito ang kalidad ng aming mga produkto at mas mapapalawak nito ang service areas namin," Joel F. Abinsay, President of Budasan Communal Irrigators Association, said.
